About Me:
My Favorite Crow Quotes
"People once believed, that when someone dies, a crow carries their soul to the land of the dead. But sometimes, something so bad happens, that a terrible sadness is carried with it and the soul can't rest. Then sometimes, just sometimes the crow could bring that soul back to put the wrong things right."
"Victims, aren't we all"
"Suddenly, I heard a tapping,as if someone gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door. You heard me rapping, right?"
"Do you know someone named T-Bird? He had a friend who shouldn't have played with knives. Like the jacket?"
"They're all dead, they just don't know it yet."
"Little things, used to mean so much to Shelly. I used to think they were kind of trivial. . . believe me, nothing is trivial."
"Mother is the name of God on the lips and hearts of all children."
"I have something to give you. I don't want it anymore" *Places hand on Top Dollar's head* "Thirty hours of pain. . .ALL AT ONCE! All for you."
"If the people we love are taken from us, the way they live on is to never stop loving them.Buildings burn, people die, but real love is forever."
My Favorite V For Vendetta Quotes
"That's it! See, at first, I thought it was hate too. Hate was all they knew, it imprisoned me, taught me how to eat, how to drink, how to breathe. I thought I would die with all the hate in my veins. But then, something happened. It happened to me, just as it happened to you."
"Good evening, London. Allow me first to apologize for this interruption. I do, like many of you, appreciate the comforts of every day routine- the security, the familiar, the tranquility, repetition. I enjoy them as much as any bloke. But in the spirit of commemoration, thereby those important events of the past usually associated with someone's death or the end of some awful bloody struggle, a celebration of a nice holiday, I thought we could mark this November the 5th, a day that is sadly no longer remembered, by taking some time out of our daily lives to sit down and have a little chat. There are of course those who do not want us to speak. I suspect even now, orders are being shouted into telephones, and men with guns will soon be on their way. Why? Because while the truncheon may be used in lieu of conversation, words will always retain their power. Words offer the means to meaning, and for those who will listen, the annunciation of truth. And the truth is, there is something terribly wrong with this country, isn't there? Cruelty and injustice, intolerance, and oppression. And where once you had the freedom to object, think, and speak as you saw fit, you now have censors and systems of surveillence coercing your conformity and soliciting your submission. How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror. I know why you did it. I know you were afraid. Who wouldn't be? War, terror, disease. There were a myriad of problems which conspired to corrupt your reason and rob you of your common sense. Fear got the best of you, and in your panic you turned to the now high chancellor, Adam Sutler. He promised you order, he promised you peace, and all he demanded in return was your silent, obedient consent. Last night I sought to end that silence. Last night I destroyed the Old Bailey, to remind this country of what it has forgotten. More than four hundred years ago a great citizen wished to embed the fifth of November forever in our memory. His hope was to remind the world that fairness, justice, and freedom are more than words, they are perspectives. So if you've seen nothing, if the crimes of this government remain unknown to you then I would suggest you allow the fifth of November to pass unmarked. But if you see what I see, if you feel as I feel, and if you would seek as I seek, then I ask you to stand beside me one year from tonight, outside the gates of Parliament, and together we shall give them a fifth of November that shall never, ever be forgot."
"The multiplying villainies of nature do swarm upon him. Disdaining fortune with his brandished steel/which smoked with bloody execution..."
"We are oft to blame in this. 'Tis too much proved that with devotion's visage and pious action we do sugar o'er the devil himself."
"Spare the rod..."
"And thus I clothe my naked villainy/With old odd ends, stol'n forth of holy writ;/And seem a saint, when most I play the devil."
"I dare do all that may become a man; Who dares do more is none."
"Vi Veri Veniversum Vivus Vici"
"I'd only told them the truth. Was that so selfish? Our integrity sells for so little, but it's all that was really have. It is the very last inch of us, but within that inch, we are free."
"I shall die here. Every last inch of me shall perish. Except one. An inch. It's small and it's fragile and it's the only thing in the world worth having. We must never lose it, or sell it, or give it away. We must never let them take it from us."
"What I hope most of all is that you understand what I mean when I tell you that though I do not know you and even though I may never meet you, laugh with you, cry with you, or kiss you, I love you. With all my heart, I love you."
"Voilà! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a bygone vexation stands vivified, and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin vanguarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition. The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it's my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V."
"People should not be afraid of their governments, governments should be afraid of their people."
"The building is a symbol, as is the act of destroying it. Symbols are given power by their people. By itself, a symbol is meaningless, but with enough people, blowing up a building can change the world."
"Everybody is special. Everybody. Everybody is a hero, a lover, a fool, a villan. Everybody."
"I've not come for what you hoped to do. I've come for what you did."
"There are no coincidences, Delia. Only the illusion of coincidence. I have another rose, and this one is for you.
"It means that I, like God, do not play with dice and do not believe in coincidence."
"No. What you have are bullets and the hope that when your guns are empty I'm no longer standing, because if I am, you'll all be dead before you've reloaded."
"My turn..."
"Beneath this mask there is more than flesh. Beneath this mask there is an idea, Mr. Creedy, and ideas are bulletproof."
"But the Frozen mask just smiles."
I don't have a name, you can call me V..."
Her name is anarchy, and she taught me more as a mistress, than you ever did."
I am the devil, and I come to do the devil's work."
"Evey please... there is a face beneath this mask, but it's not me. I'm no more that face than I am the muscles beneath it, or the bones beneath them."
"Did you think to kill me? There's no flesh or blood within this cloak to kill. There's only an idea. Ideas are bulletproof."
THE VICIOUS CABARET:
"They Say Theres A Broken Light For Every Heart On Broadway... They Say That Lifes A Game And Then They Take The Board Away. They Give You Masks And Costumes And An Outline Of The Story Then Leave You All To Improvise Their Vicious Cabaret. In no longer pretty cities there are fingers in the kitties, there are warrants, forms and chitties and a jackboot on the stair Theres sex and death and human grime in monochrome for one thin dime, and at least the trains all run on time but they dont go anywhere. Facing their responsibilities either on their backs or on their knees, there are ladies who just simply freeze and dare not turn away And the widows who refuse to cry will be dressed in garter and bow-tie and be taught to kick their legs up high in this vicious cabaret. At last the 1998 show! The ballet on the burning stage! The documentary seen upon the fractured screen The Dreadful Poem Scrawled Upon The Crumpled Page! Theres a policeman with an honest soul that has seen whose head is on the pole and he fills his briar bowl with a feeling of unease. Then he briskly frisks the torn remains for a fingerprint or crimson stains and endeavors to ignore the chains that he walks in to his knees while his master in the dark nearby inspects the hands with brutal eye that have never brushed a lovers thigh but have squeezed a nations throat And he hungers in his secret dreams for the harsh embrace of cruel machines. But his lover is not what she seems and she will not leave a note At last the 1998 show! The situation tragedy! Grand opera slick with soap! Cliff-hangers with no hope! The water color in the flooded gallery. Theres a girl wholl push but will not shove and shes desperate for her fathers love. She believes the hand beneath the glove may be the one she needs to hold. Though she doubts her hosts moralities she decides that she is more at ease in the land of Doing-As-You-Please, than outside in the cold. But the Backdrops Peel And the Sets Give Way And the Cast Get Eaten By The Play. Theres A Murderer At The Matinee. There Are Dead Men In The Aisles. And the Patrons And The Actors Too Are Uncertain If The Show Is Through, And With Sidelong Looks Await Their Cue But The Frozen Mask Just Smiles. At last the 1998 show! The torch-song no one ever sings! The curfew chorus line! The comedy divine! The bulging eyes of puppets, strangled by their stings! Theres Thrills And Chills And Girls Galore, Theres Sing-Songs And Surprises! Theres Something Here For Everyone, Reserve Your Seat Today! Theres Mischief And Malarkeys But No Queers Or Yids Or Darkies Within This Bastard Carnival THIS VICIOUS CABARET!"
A Poem to the Woman I Love...
My hands say... I'm always here even if you have to reach for me.
My eyes say... I can't dream anyone more beautiful.
My hugs say... Nothing I desire compares with you.
My kisses say... I almost can't believe you love me.
My body says... I want to wake up beside you.
My heart says... Your love is so unique all I want to do is to sink in your ocean eyes and it gives me peace...
To Alicia:
I need you here to hold me,
you're the only one with the key,
the key to bringing me happiness and joy,
cause you're not like any other girl,
as you hold me and dry my tears,
the pain and fears disappear...
"A small light shines through the darkness."
"Not all who wander are lost..."
